Ellen: Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to take a quick look at the set of electrical tape.Now, this is going to come in five different colors. You'll have white, red, green, blue, and black. So it gives you a really easy way to keep any kind of wiring separate. You can use this really for any kind of application, but mostly it's going to be to help you color coordinate things, keep track of stuff. It's really handy for any kind of wiring that you might be doing in an RV, on a trailer, or running any kind of hydraulic lines or ...

Not hydraulic, but water lines and things like that. Just to keep track of what's what.As a person who's come from the film industry, I look at this and I think of using it in a stage or film production sort of way. And you use those for marking out wires and keeping things labeled and also for marking stage sets and stuff like that. Usually you would use gaff tape for that, which ends up not leaving a residue. Since this is electrical tape, it will leave a residue.

It's a little bit more sticky, tacky material than gaff tape, which usually has a fabric backing to it. But that's really neither here nor there.Electrical tape is usually going to give you more of a water . Not waterproof, but a water resistant material. So it's going to help to seal up those electrical connections and prevent some water from getting in there and causing any issues. So again, you get the five different colors, keep all those things labeled and separate.It doesn't tell you how long each of these is.

But if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say they're about 20 feet long total here. So should give you a good amount of length to label things or keep things marked. The width of each of these rolls of tape is about three quarters of an inch. And again, I'd say roughly about 20 feet of length overall.That's pretty much all there is to it for our look at the multicolor electrical tape set.
